Books that impacted me in 2019

Here are a couple of books that impacted me in different ways in 2019

Below is a a list of some of the books I've read or listened to last year. They are not in a specific order, they have all impacted me in one way or another. I write only a few words about each one, not really a review.

Atomic Habits : An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones, by James Clear

This is one of my favourites books of all times. It is a very practical book. If you read the Power of Habit or something about Tiny Habits, you will be familiar with the subject. This book is very practical and it gives you a structure about how you can tackle each moment and create new habits. There are many interesting nuggets of information that were new to me, and the way he explained them made the whole habit creation seem easy. I recommend this book to everyone!

Indistractable : How to Control Your Attention and Choose Your Life, by Nir Eyal

This is another one of my favourites. The information in this book is very practical. What I got out of this book is how by changing your mindset about what to focus or not focus makes all the difference.

Moonwalking with Einstein: The Art and Science of Remembering Everything, by Joshua Foer

This is a great book I would read to again. It is the story of a journalist who doesn't think he can become a master at remembering, until he is challenged and ends up competing against other mental athletes. The way the story is told is very entertaining and the whole book is eye opening.

Think and Grow Rich for Women : Using Your Power to Create Success and Significance, by Sharon Lechter

The first edition was written by Napoleon Hill, you have probably already read it or heard about it. This book is focused on women. What I really liked is that she talks about Masterminding with other like-minded people. She touches many other subjects, but that one impacted me the most.

Free to Focus : A Total Productivity System to Achieve More by Doing Less, by Michael Hyatt

This book is again very practical. He talks about how to plan your ideal day and gives you tips on how to work more efficiently. He teaches about goal setting and productivity. I enjoyed this book very much.

High Performance Habits: How Extraordinary People Become That Way, by Brendon Burchard

In this book I read about habits, but more from the entrepreneur point of view. He talks about clarity, productivity, mindset, about taking action. It is a practical book and inspiring as well.

Building a StoryBrand: Clarify Your Message So Customers Will Listen, by Donald Miller

This is a great book about story telling. Especially for marketing purposes, how to put our message in a way that is interesting and makes an impact on our readers. In this book I learned about how to structure a landing page, not too much information but enough to get people interested, that's the key.

There are many more books that have impacted me in one way or another, but for now I think this list is enough. In case you are looking for inspirations, you have a few to get you started!
